Position: Developer of Ministries to, for, and with Young People

The Presbytery of Arkansas is conducting a search for a Developer of Ministries to, for, and with Young People. This is a part-time position, averaging twenty hours per week. Position: Ministry Program Assistant (part-time)

The Ministry Program Assistant (with a focus in Children's and Youth Ministries) will provide support to the ministries of First Presbyterian Church, a historic congregation located in the heart of downtown Portland, OR. Based on the skills and interests of the candidate, the scope of the position could extend beyond children's and youth ministries into other ministries in the life of the church. The core responsibilities include making connections with the children, youth, families, and volunteers in the congregation, coordinating volunteers and childcare workers, providing weekly preparation of children's ministry offerings, supporting the ministries as Sunday School teachers and Youth Ministry leaders, and helping with other special events within the life of the church. Position: Director of Youth Spiritual Formation

Located on the campus of Whitworth University in Spokane, our mission statement shapes every aspect of our congregation: Inviting Community and University to know Jesus. The current youth ministry program at our church is healthy, with 60-75 high schoolers and 30-35 middle schoolers on average attending youth group weekly. Graduate Residency in Youth Ministry--Within a 40-Hour Radius of Memphis, TN, and Austin, TX

The Graduate Residency in Youth Ministry is unique to CYMT. The residency program creates a whole-person learning environment by nurturing you academically in the classroom, vocationally in the local  church and through personal coaching, as well as emotionally and socially through peer interaction in a cohort of fellow graduate residents.While in the program, residents will gain experience in a 3-year supervised practicum as a youth director in a local church while earning a Master of Arts in Youth Ministry. Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church, Orlando, FL

Position: Youth Director (full-time)

This is a full-time job directing the youth ministries of our 590 member congregation, focusing on Middle School and High School. You would work closely with the Commissioned Pastor who focuses on children’s ministries and with the Senior Pastor. The youth meet on Sunday afternoons for study or mission work. Mission work might include service at Give Kids the World for seriously ill children or at a homeless ministry in the area. We have one or two youth Sundays per year in which the youth preach and lead worship at 8:30 and 10:45 on Sunday mornings. We have several trips and retreats in the year, as well as lock-ins at the church gym. We expect one week-long event for both middle school (usually to Maryville TN) and for high school (usually to Montreat, NC). This person would be responsible for securing and training volunteers for the youth program. We also work closely with other churches in the Central Florida Presbytery and provide leadership in regional events. This position includes some medical benefits, pension, four weeks vacation and two weeks continuing education leave.
