Arts, Recreation and Worship Conference: “A Weary World Rejoices!”
May 3 - May 5
ARW is normally a week-long experiential opportunity amongst a community where all are welcome! The event focuses on recreation, worship, community, creativity and the arts. It is designed for those who want to deepen their creativity, broaden their leadership skills and experience personal spiritual renewal. In addition to whole group worship and recreation events, participants select from a wide range of unique courses. Our learning together provides space for us to share in community which includes all of God’s voices. Come join us as we acknowledge our weariness and rejoice in all that God has given us!
The 2021 ARW Planning Team has decided to move forward with a predominantly virtual 3 day conference this May. Here are the options:
- A virtual option which has pre-recorded and live worship each day, virtual workshops, a networking time and an evening event each night. The cost for this option is $80.50 (including all fees) with an option to cover the real costs of bringing ARW to you ($128 including all fees). If the timing isn’t great for your schedule, no worries – if you register for this option you will have access to ALL the workshops and their resources from May 8-August 1.
- An option to add a housing and meals package to stay at Assembly Inn on May 2 – 6 (4 night stay, Sunday thru Thursday morning) for those who want a “get away”. These folks will still participate in the virtual workshop virtually – only the leadership and technology teams will be in Upper Anderson during worship or any of the evening events. The cost for this option is $402.46 including all fees.
- A.third option is to register for one of 4 limited on-site classes, stay at Assembly Inn on May 2 – 6 (4 night stay, Sunday thru Thursday morning). This includes 6 sessions (2 each day), and each class will be limited to 10 participants. The cost for this option is $476.35 including all fees. This includes housing in a private room, meals, and the onsite class material fees. Please note that if you opt for an on-site workshop, you are opting out of the online workshops as they will be occurring simultaneously. You will still be able to enjoy the virtual worship, networking time and evening events and will get full access to the workshop recordings and resources after the conference ends.
