Westlake Hills Presbyterian in Austin, Texas is searching for our next Director of Student Ministries. WHPC is truly a unique place to call one’s faith home. When visitors describe their experience on Sunday morning they say things like, “This place is alive,” “Everyone was so warm and welcoming,” and “We love how all the generations are present!” The people of WHPC are committed to their mission: Inviting people into God’s larger story, as we follow Christ together.
WHPC is ideally located on a busy street corner in the beautiful hill country only 7 miles west of downtown Austin and 9 miles from the University of Texas at Austin. Since its inception 150 years ago, the people of WHPC have committed to local mission service engagement with the hungry, unhoused, and refugees in the Austin area. On campus during the week, we serve all ages, including a vibrant preschool, divorce and grief care, and a special mid-week ministry that offers respite to the caregivers of those with dementia.
Our church is healthy with gifted pastors, staff, and faith-filled members.
